This past July The Wild Blue was hired by Explore Minnesota to provide video production of Lake of the Woods in Baudette, Minnesota. We have always loved the Lake of the Woods area and jumped all over the opportunity to showcase our skills. By having looked at the video, you wouldn’t have realized how much severe weather we had to battle in order to fit the shoot in two days. Upon arrival at our cabin, the weather was already 91 degrees and extremely humid. This eventually then turned into massive storms the first night and into the next morning! As soon as the storms cleared out at 9:00am, it was off to the races and the prized fishing grounds. The weather did open up for a few hours and allow us to get over the the Northwest Angle and showcase some of the resorts in that remote part of Lake of the Woods. We would like to thank all who made this shoot a huge success that it was namely Paul and Brandi Johnson of River Bend’s Resort and Joe Henry with Lake of the Woods Tourism.
